The Duncan project lies in the James Bay region of Quebec, about 35 km south of Radisson. It consists of 229 map-designated claims grouped into two blocks lying on either side of the James-Bay road and covering a total area of 116.8 km2. The claims are wholly-owned by NQ Exploration Inc., with some subject to a 2% NSR royalty. The claims blocks lie a few kilometres from the sheared contact between the Bienville and La Grande subprovinces. The basement rocks of the project are characterized by sheared basalt flows, iron formations and varied, sometimes sheared intrusions of the La Grande subprovince. The area surrounding the two blocks of the Duncan project has been explored to some degree, particularly following the discovery of the Duncan Lake iron formation in 1949. Over the ensuing decade, Duncan Range Iron Mines outlined an iron deposit estimated at 1 billion tonnes (pre-NI 43-101 reserves). In the 1970s, the regional lake sediment geochemical survey performed by Societe de développement de la Baie-James (SDBJ) covered the two blocks and returned numerous anomalous gold, copper and silver values. A grab sample from the Duncan North showing in the NE corner of the Duncan West block returned values of 13.6 g/t Ag and 4% Cu, and percussion drilling on the D-38 Grid showing on Duncan North returned silver values of up to 40 g/t Ag over 0.30 m. In 2007, a new lake sediment geochemical survey was conducted on the West and East blocks. Preliminary results indicate the presence of a gold, arsenic and copper-zinc anomaly. In July 2008, NQ carried out prospecting and reconnaissance geology on the property. The prospecting work was aimed at finding the source of the INPUT airborne electromagnetic anomalies identified in 1979-1980, which had seen little to no prospecting. In all, 191 grab samples were collected and assayed for Au-Ag-Cu-Zn and 14 samples were collected for lithogeochemical analysis. This work identified two new gold showings, one zinc showing and eight kilometric-sized zones anomalous in gold and Cu-Zn. The following table shows the best results of grab sampling:

All the zones and showings are geologically associated with INPUT anomalies, and numerous zinc and copper anomalies are found in the lake bottom sediments glacially downstream from the anomalies. In September 2008, additional prospecting work was done in the areas that returned the best results in July. A total of 54 additional grab samples and 11 channel samples were collected. The best sample returned 1.3 g/t Au over 1 metre. A new showing was also discovered: one grab sample on a gabbro outcrop returned a value of 4.6% Cu. The geological, geochemical and geophysical data suggests an environment favourable to the discovery of volcanogenic copper/zinc deposits, as well as orogenic-type gold deposits. The discovery of new gold and copper-zinc showings in 2008 indicates potential that warrants follow-up work.
